Q: How do I access manual camera controls in ElectroSpotmatic?
A: ElectroSpotmatic provides manual controls for ISO, shutter speed and focus. These controls appear as sliders controlled by the camera control on the side of your phone and buttons in an arc onscreen. To access the sliders, press the camera control button slightly. To access the onscreen controls, tap one of the buttons to expand it into rotary control you can manipulate. Rotate the control to change values and see the results onscreen immediately. Touch inside the control to collapse it again.
Q: How does SpotmaticMagic process images?
A: SpotmaticMagic processes images entirely on your device using local algorithms. All image processing happens offline - no images or data are ever uploaded or transmitted. You can select images from your photo library, process them, and save the results back to your device.
Q: Do these apps collect any personal data?
A: No. Neither ElectroSpotmatic nor SpotmaticMagic collects any personal data. All information always stays on your device. Photos, videos, processed images, and all app data remain local to your device and are never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
Q: Why can't I save photos to my Photo Library?
A: Ensure you've granted Photo Library access permissions. For ElectroSpotmatic, go to iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > ElectroSpotmatic and select "Add Photos Only" or "All Photos". For SpotmaticMagic, go to iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > SpotmaticMagic and grant the necessary permissions.
Q: How do I enable location tagging for photos?
A: Location services can be enabled in the app settings or through iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > ElectroSpotmatic. Choose "While Using App" for location tagging.
Q: The app crashes when I try to take a photo (ElectroSpotmatic) or process an image (SpotmaticMagic). What should I do?
A: Try restarting the app and your device. Ensure you have sufficient storage space and that all permissions are granted. For ElectroSpotmatic, make sure camera permissions are enabled.
